BBD Research Report released!

We’re pleased to announce the release of the “Beyond Blue Door” research report. Community Alliance for Accessible Treatment (CAAT), in partnership with other service partners, this study builds on the work of the Blue Door Clinic. The report aims to understand and improve healthcare access for people living with HIV who have limited or no health insurance.

The research is divided into two parts. First, it looks into the specific challenges and barriers these individuals face in accessing healthcare. Second, it assesses how well the Blue Door Clinic is meeting these needs. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to collect data, making the findings robust and actionable.

One of the standout aspects of the report is its practical recommendations. These are aimed at enhancing the quality and reach of healthcare services for this underserved population. While the Blue Door Clinic has shown to be effective, the report highlights areas for further improvement, particularly around resource sustainability.

We encourage healthcare providers, policymakers, and interested parties to read the report. Its findings are critical for anyone committed to making healthcare more equitable and accessible.
