CAAT 2023 Annual General Meeting

Notice of CAAT’s first Annual General Meeting (AGM)

On behalf of CAAT- Community Alliance for Accessible Treatment, it is our pleasure to invite you to our first Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the CASEY HOUSE, 119 Isabella Street, Toronto.

Over the last 22 years CAAT as the Committee for Accessible AIDS Treatment (CAAT) has worked hard to advance care access and community leadership for racialize, newcomer and precariously insured communities living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS. In 2022, CAAT went through an extensive community consultation and planning process to become an incorporated non-profit organization on Dec 1, World AIDS Day. We hope that you will come and join us to celebrate this historic moment as we affirm our strengthened commitment to champion access, equity and empowerment for our communities as the new CAAT.

The theme of our event will be Color of Resilience as we celebrate the birth of the new CAAT and the release of the report of the Beyond Blue Door Research Study that explores challenges and resilience of precariously insured people living with HIV in accessing care and evaluate the Blue Door Clinic’s effectiveness in bridging gaps for these communities.

Please complete the RSVP form https://forms.gle/2mtcWbPAqiip13Xs8 by September 5th, 2023, to confirm your attendance so we can prepare food for you.
