CAAT People: Loralee Gillis

Loralee Gillis worked for CAAT as the research coordinator of the “Improving Treatment Access to Marginalized PHAs Research Project” at Regent Park Community Health Centre from April 2000 to May 2001.  Since leaving Regent Park, she worked at the Association of Ontario Health Centres, as the Manager of Research and Evaluation for 7 years. Three years ago Loralee moved to Rainbow Health Ontario, where she works as the Research and Policy Coordinator.

“Working with the ITAPHA project was a great opportunity for me.  Alan and CAAT were deeply committed to ensuring that the research we did was truly grounded in the community.  The fact that CAAT has endured so many years is a testament to the commitment and vision of the many community members that have been involved over the years.”
